    Responsibilities

    YOU’RE ON IT.

     

    You’re positive, attentive, responsive, dependable, personable, professional, and forward-thinking. You’re ON IT! You’re our next Junior Systems Administrator. You’ll report to our Service Delivery Manager, and in this role you’ll be responsible for resolving technical issues for a wide variety of clients through various means including email and phone, while working with desktop, servers, telephony and networking technologies. 

     

    What Does a Junior Systems Administrator do?

    • As a single point of contact provide technical customer service support for a wide variety of clients
    • Support clients by spanning Tier 1 and 2 support responsibilities including Liaising with Tier 3 resources
    • Coordinating with external partners or vendors to remediate client support needs
    • Share knowledge and provide assistance across clients as needed
    • Stay up to date on current and past incidents to maintain the highest levels of customer service        
    • Adheres to risk and response processes as well as other support specific processes
    • Creation of knowledge base articles

    Qualifications

    What You’ll Need to be On IT:

    • You work effectively individually or as part of a team with great interpersonal and consulting skills
    • Able to work through ITIL based workflows in order to complete work in a timely, efficient manner
    • Excellent time management skills
    • You have 1 to 3 years IT experience with an emphasis on Microsoft technologies
    • You have a solid proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016
    • Proficiency in User Account Management via Active Directory
    • You can configure and troubleshooting a variety of Antivirus, Antispam and Backup software packages
    • Experience with troubleshooting and administrating Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
    • Experience with VMware and Citrix
    • You know how to install, configure and troubleshooting Microsoft Office products
    • You have experience configuring and troubleshooting network connectivity, including inspection of routers and firewalls
    • You have strong English language (oral and written) along with good organization skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation
    • You have the ability to research and apply knowledge effectively
    • Experience in managing applications through small changes, patch/hotfix/version upgrade processes
    • Stress tolerance and sharpened sense in problem solving
    • Previous experience with Apple computing products are an asset
    • Experience with Kaseya Remote Support Software or other current remote support tools
    • Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy or other ITIL based ticketing system
    • Current Microsoft or Cisco certifications
    • Post-secondary degree, fast track program or equivalent are an asset
